NE IL | A neighbor has some 62-97 and he planted it CoC on his best ground and his looks bad.....the heat really got to it. The DSM said this won't be a good year to compare hybrids because of the extreme heat and dryness. I say, BS to that!!!! Years like this are the best years to compare hybrids for stress tolerance. I get real leary comparing hybrids in the years when everything is 200 BPA +......race horse hybrids don't really interest me, I want the hybrids that can make it through a year like 2011 and make a respectable crop compared to other hybrids. I'm starting to get tired of DeKalb's excuse-making. | |
