Southeast Colorado | The funny thing about milo is that after you grow it for several years you can just look across the field and guess within 10% of your yield. It is the only crop with the grain just hanging out there for you to see. Post a picture, tell me the population and I'll venture a guess. Don't hold me to the 10% rule because being there in person with experience on what the crop has endured is everything. If you keep milo in your cropping plan and watch and take care of the crop yourself, I'm sure you will understand what I'm saying soon. | |
