Looks to me there is a lesson to be learned here by babing those cows and calves.
I agree with putting the bull in for 60 days in the spring and then again in Dec. that way at least you would be bunched up.
I know because I got that way calving from last of March to middle of July . Now calving spring and fall and liking it very much, if one miss she will catch the second group, unless she is not worth it then ( by - by ) This way is working well for me and accually lets me run a few more cows because of pasture management. With two groups you do not have the bigger calves eating pasture so I run 5 more cows by splitting my calving dates plus have them bunched.( I run both groups together just mange bull ) Just a thought.
