SWIL
I've used this feed for the last five years. It seems to keep them eating and healthy during the transition. I will usually pick up enough bags when I get a new group to last me until I can get a batch of feed mixed and delivered. My feed supplier can make an equivalent feed cheaper, but it takes a few days to get it delivered, so the bags get me by until then. If conditions are nice, I start switching to their normal feed at two weeks and have never gone more than three weeks on this feed. This is on holsteins about 250 to 300 pounds, so the cost per day isn't nearly as high as a heavier animal.

I guess I am one of those "hobby farmers" that has a full time job so I don't get to watch my new groups as closely or as often as I would like. It seems to make my life a bunch easier with this feed, which makes the feed bill easier to digest.
