My dad use to help an old old timer do some oats when i was little. They would run them wet and place on old strait trucks w/ wooden boxes for 2weeks to a month or a wooden crib in one neighbors barn.
Something about the wood they said helped them dry. ?? I dunno just remember them doing it.
They have metal bins available with fans/drying floor but never used them.
