| Pat, we started planting 4/13 & got rained out 4/14. Got back in the first week of May. Finished beans on 5/24 followed by 4 1/2" of rain beginning the 24th. Decent rains thru May but July & Aug have been scorchers with very little rain here with most being under a 1/10th. and when we get any it gone that day or the next. We did get approx .4" from Sat even till yesterday but temps are suppose to be in the 90s today so it won't last long.
I don't think Pro Farmers are far off from what I have seen. I read where the lows for this area was around 77bpa. I know of some fields will push to make that. If I can get 145-150 avg I'll be tickled to death. For a comparison, most of my aphs are in the 180s | |
