I work alot in easter CO and western KS--terraces are of all ages. Most are old however. Lots of the terraces in grass are CRP (both current and expired) and old soil bank ground. Probably ground that should have never been broken out IMHO.
I guess I view W KS and E CO to be big and flat--I am curious, what route did you take to CO?
