Subject: Do you think this will work for planting cover crop?

LaSalle, Ontario, 10 miles south of Detroit Mi.
This is my second year growing tillage radish this year i will also be planting peas in the same field. Here is what i am going to try, I will broadcast the tillage radish at 7 lbs per acre and right after notill drill 30 lbs per acre of peas this is into wheat stubble. We have had good moisture here this summer. Do you think the tillage radish will start to grow OK? I just have the 1 box on the drill and do not think the seed will mix well if i put them together (different size seed). also the planting depth is only 1/4 inch for radish 1 1/4 inch for the peas. I feel that the straw that is on the ground (I do not bale it off), and the mixing the drill will do should cover the radish seed enough. Your thoughts ?
Thank you.
