| Dad had one field of corn ragged up pretty good at about the 6 leaf stage. It was two varieties split planted. Virtually the same split on another farm. At Dad's there was a very large split in pollination, the other farm both numbers pretty much pollinated simultaneously. There are also a lot of stalks with signifigant bruising and falling over. No bugs I can find, and it's VTP corn. I'm sure the latter is from hail damagem but, could the stress of being hailed on have added to the pollination woes? Overall, the corn looked pretty good. | |
