looks good. But depends if it came from a field with 35,000 plants or 25,000 plants. Years ago I remember one company around here was mailing a cob to all prospects. They hand picked cobs from a field where they seeded around 12,000 so they would have very large cobs to mail out. Good marketing
Field was planted at 35k, 20 gallons of starter, sprayed with a half rate of sure start, side dressed with 160lbs of nh3 then culivated
Now i'm not saying every ear looks like this but I will say the field will do well |
