So true.... SmartStax were not approved in China when they were launched a year ago. Last I checked nobody seemed to have an issue with that. As was stated, this only became an issue because China decided to buy a bunch of corn out of the blue. Is this an unfortunate situation? Absolutely! But it is not Syngenta's fault, they followed all industry guidelines for trait launches.
