| Do your homework on the company you're planning on selling for. I just entered into my second year as a salesman and it took the company 2 years to get me to agree to it. Mainly because I wanted to find out everything I could about them first. They treated me like a dealer from the beginning of that process and let me come to dealer meetings and see where the company is headed in the future that impressed me right away. If they have good base genetics and you can place the right hybrids on the right farms they should compete with anything out there. Other than that to start out a 5000lb forlift a pickup with a trailer and a roof to put the seed under is all you need to start. | |
