| Thanks for the replies. No doubt inactivity has something to do with it as I have a hard time handling the heat for very long. I've been a diabetic for close to 15 yrs & haven't drank regular pop since I was diagnosed with it & quit using sugar then as well. I'm trying to cut back on diet pop & the use of artifical sweetners but some foods just aren't edible with out some type of sweetner. So far this week have only drank 2 bottles o diet pop. Dr suggested Crystal Light so I have been using their packetts mixed into water.
Wife had suggested the high socks but haven't tried them yet so need to get a pair to try. I have found if I wear the short topped socks like a lot of people wear with tennis shoes it helps cutdown on the swelling in the lower legs. Problem isI usually wear hiking boots while working & then tend to rub just above the top of the sock.
I have a drs appointment in a couple weeks. Hopefully can make it to then & will ask some questions.
Thanks again,
