Since I have farmed the only year even close to this one was 98 and we didnt get any rain till sept. 8 and it rained 8 inches. In 98 the drought didnt start till july and this year it started at the end of may. The temps this year are also probably 10 degrees higher than 98 and what is sad it was over a 100 all summer long in 98.
