I have gleaned knowledge and friends here over the past few years. Without NAT I know I would not be farming today.
I'd like to hear more about your operation. How did this place save your bacon?
Tom
I bought the trailer we used to move from Iowa to Indiana from LtFire from my posts here.
Received advice on starting over when we moved to Indiana.
Bought my planter from Ed Winkle here.
Had much advice on issues with my first crop of soybeans from my posts here.
Received advice on adding land and improving operation from members here.
Began using covercrops based on many posts from here coupled with my off NAT discussions with NAT members.
Received agronomic advice and suggestions here when I couldn't get my local agronomists to help me.
That pretty much sums it up.
My wife and I are starting from scratch with our farm. We don't have a Grandfather or Father with farming experience to help us with advice, equipment, or ground to farm. The members of NAT are my collective Mentors to help me with our operation.
