I forgot, healthy soil makes for healthy plants." Healthy soil does make for healthy plants. That's a great observation. Healthy plants make for healthy livestock and healthy people. The old saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" also holds true for plants. Are short-lived chemicals with zero nutritional value the only way to preserve plant health? There are a lot of options when it comes to preventative maintenance in crops, before the need to spray occurs. But healthy soil sure is the best place to start. |
