PeteMN - 7/27/2011 14:49 Well, there's incentive and there's greed. Soybean companies were bringing out new varieties prior to roundup/ready beans. In many ways it seems as though the RR patent stranglehold has pushed many companies away from soybean research, and if you look at yields, the current tech fees have done very little other than enrich the main patent holder.


And, to add insult to injury - RR seed has suppressed yeilds advances . . . . .  Heck, I feel the new RR2 beans are not up to snuff of non-gmo seed capibilities. . . . . .
