Panhandle of Ne. | signs of goss's. Had the pioneer rep. and their field man come look and said they really couldn't see any yet. Being advised to spray headline on it. Pioneer field man said that goss's is a bacterial disease and headline is a fungicide so really wouldn't help. He also said that we would only need it to help plant health but our corn looks healthy and dark green. Corn is just tasseling. The only thing I could find was very little leaf striping as in sulphur or zinc defeciency. I am not wanting to spend around 25 bucks an acre if I don't need to. Would gladly do it if I needed some help in the overall plant health situation. To spray or not to spray, that is the question. | |
