Bloomington | You can control it post emergence in your lawn with a product called Drive. This is a herbicde that golf courses use. You can get Drive from any herbicde distributer. Just ask you local Chem Retail Dealer to source it for you from their Distributer. I know Van Diest Distributer from Decatur handles it. I have not personally used Drive although I have a 2 Qt bottle of it. I just do not think it would be a good idea spraying on my lawn when we have gone 4 weeks without a rain. The label indicates that it is safe on lawn grasses. You can do a google search on the label and read for yourself. I know a person that used it in a spot spraying method and he was able to kill his crabgrass without hurting his lawn. I intend to broadcast a spray application of Drive when conditions get better. | |
