WC MN
If it was August 22nd might chance getting enough beneficials or aphids leaving, this early in the game increasing aphid numbers continue until plants are sooty, black and stunted. Cruiser treated fields are just now reaching sprayable levels, some non treated fields are already on second aphid spraying and may need a third application since we have a few weeks of vegetation growth left yet. It's a here thing, If you farm around Underwood, MN, too much buckthorn, you will spray aphids every year, timing is the only varible but often starts the end of June, 30 miles west of there you might spray 1 in 5 years.
