NC ND | Last year had a variety that looked pretty good up till a late wind storm, thought there could be some nutrient/nitrogen issues didn't want to blame the variety. Just had a pretty tough wind storm, conditions were perfect for green snap according to the local Ag college info. Same variety has some serious green snap in it. Would you consider just bad luck twice in a row or is time to blame the variety? Brings to mind a second question now, do you call in your insurance now or is it a just wait till after harvest call if the yields are poor? | |
