Subject: Heat cooking the wheat

Have anyone of you guys noticed on the spring wheat the higher number of heads that are dead with shriveled kernals? Some heads have 3 or 3 seeds in the head. The wheat really turned during the hot week and was wondering if the wheat simply cooked or if it could be a disease problem like scab. We have had plenty of rain, and with the humidity the conditions are ripe for disease problems.
Thanks
Rod
