Is it that way through the majority of the field? The other plants in the picture seem to look good. If you are renting next year, and if it was me, i would send off a tissue sample and a soil test to see exactly what is going on. It does look like a K deficiancy. It could be what you are describing, but knowing what the actual problem is other than what it could be is better in my way of thinking. Those beans are looking good. I just wish mine were that far along and not just sprouting......
