Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour
August 22-25, 2011

The Midwest Crop Tour's primary goal is to provide the industry with accurate late-season information about likely corn and soybean yields during the upcoming harvest season at the state and regional level.

Each day's crop observations are shared with VIP growers hosted by the event's sponsors. Eastern and Western branches of the tour conduct local programs Monday - Wednesday evenings. Crop Tour culminates with a Thursday evening session in southern Minnesota which includes a taping for Saturday morning's edition of U.S. Farm Report and is followed up with U.S. corn and soybean yield predictions and market impact analysis in the next day's Pro Farmer newsletter.
