NW Washington | On the Seattle news recently they talked about idiots cutting into electrical power sub-stations and stealing copper. There is some real high power in those places. My son lives in an old house in Pennsylvannia which has copper downspout and he had one of the stolen so far.
About 50 years ago or so I remember hearing about problems at an Air Force base in North Africa where the local Arabs were stealing the wire for the runway and taxi way lights. So stealing copper is not new. | |
