I'd agree with that. Real problem is a railroad or a trucker who doesn't clean out between loads, he probably has fertilizer in his grain too. Iv'e seen soybeans in everything too.

One important thing is to contol the canola when it's small, if it gets to bolt and is blooming, it gets pretty hard to kill soon enough to prevent seed. When the 2 4-D resistant soybeans become available, canola would be a great sales tool.

Anyway, it's only temporary, research would say canola seldom persists as a weed longer than 10 years. : )
