West Texas | You know, I never knew we had a 'monsoon' season here in west Texas but according to some weathermen this is it. Except it's not happening.
Normally the monsoonal flow stays over in NM in or against the mountains. It very seldom gets us anything. This year everytime they talk about it they give us a chance of rain, like today, we do have higher humidity etc and the clouds are building. Why this morning there was even a dew!!
Showers have been very spotty and what little showers there have been don't give yield but a tenth if that much. There have been decent rains west of us in NM in SPOTS.
I think Krantz said he got an inch last week in the Pecos Valley. Cloudcroft had 2.5" over in the mountains. | |
