West Chazy, New York | I remember reading about a very high end car restoration company (the kind that made sure every bolt was the original factory head). Their customers were almost invariably middle aged men who wanted the first car they had as teenagers, so this company was always working on cars that were about 35 to 45 years old. I suppose the same will be true for vintage tractors. Maybe I will have to drag my old 8650 out of the weeds and get it looking good again, The problem is that the hobby collector won't be able to fit the larger tractor in his garage or truck it to a parade on a goose-neck trailer. | |
