We went to one a few years ago.  Learned a lot.  Eventually bought esets from someone on the AgTalk classifieds who had traded planters before he installed them. Do esets work?  I don't know, but I do know the seed production field reps keep commenting on how even our stand is.  We had some nitrogen custom side dressed this Spring (long story) and the guy who did it kept commenting on how good a job our planter did.

I had planned on going to their winter meeting this year, but something came up at the last minute and I had to skip it.  This summer one just does not fit my schedule.

If you get a chance go to one.  I guarantee you will learn something.  You may not agree with everything, because each operation is a little bit different.  But if you don't agree you better make sure your logic is correct.
