Yes it is possible and yours did but we don't know why.

You could have had that big of a nutrient drain but more likely the first one was unrealistically high and the second one could be unrealistically low.

I haven't had that much difference but close enough to make you wonder.

I don't know about your two samples but I wouldn't entirely trust either one of those snapshots of your crop but would try and verify the second one. I trust Midwest if you want to send one there and I would try to verify the second one to understand this year's crop and plan for next years.
