Near-north Ontario, French River | The guys on heavy poorly drained soils have suffered, I've heard reports of 40-50bu, better well drained soils has been pushing 100bu. I think the 75-90 range will get most of the wheat around here. Quality so far has been excellent. FWIW I only had 46 acres this year,it averaged 83bu, that included two acres that were completely drowned out and probably 5 acres that was blown flat about a month ago. |
