17th Street Bar & Grill in Murphysboro for BBQ. There is only mediocre catfish in Illinois since Margaret's closed in Grayville. For a bit of bizarre, try New Harmony, IN. on the banks of the Wabash. the Workingman's museum is interesting, and your wife will enjoy the shops.
