There will never be a volunteer corn problem in any soybean field where the farmer made the slightest attempt to control it.    There are a wide array of soybean herbicides which are very effective on corn. 

 

I frequently have volunteer corn escape my burndown for notil beans.  Virtually never have it escape my post emerge program, unless it is insignificant and is the only grass there. 



Okay, Plowboy what are those options?

I'd sure like to know so I can add it to my arsenal in the future.


Jim, there are many things you can tank mix to control volunteer corn. There is a product called Select, another called Assure II... you should call Dave at Frick's and talk to him.
