Stay in Monticello instead of Logansport. There is a nice new hotel on the west side of town right on 24. 24 is 4 lane from Logansport east and two lane west of town. 124 is two lane and full of beautiful scenery and curves east of Peru and then flat as can be from Wabash east. Not much traffic so it's a good road in my opinion.
