Subject: RE: Insulating lower outside wall of garage?

central - east central Minnesota -

midwest - 7/9/2011 07:19 I put a new attached garage on the house. Neighbor stopped by and saw the contractor had just back filled the concrete wall. He thought the contractor should have insulated it, put a drip cap on it and then sided above it. I could still do that but would it make that big of a difference. Some of the lower concrete will be exposed and it's on the N side of the house.

This is a very good diagram ~
If you are in the northern midwest - I don't think you can ever over insulate . . . .
