Clark SD | I started a soil temperature test on 6/9 that collects temperatures at the soil surface, 2, 6 and 12 inches deep in the seed slot of corn planted into spring wheat stubble.
The corn was planted at 14:36 on May 23rd.
The air temperatures were collected from a logger located a half mile away.
The first picture shows the refuge corn it is 42 inches tall (leaf over), has 9 leaf collars and has 13 leaves.
The corn in the 2nd picture is a Bt hybrid, it is 39 inches tall , has 8 leaf collars and has 13 leaves.
