Subject: Applying sulfur

West Central Iowa
Awhile back I posted about spots in my alfalfa field that were lighter in color and the alfalfa was present but much shorter than "normal" areas nearby. Soils tests showed that P and K were H to VH but I had a lack of sulfur. Only have 3-4 acres total that need sulfur applied and they area in small patches throughout the field. Instead of having to apply 100 lbs of K per acre as carrier (to areas that are already H or VH) to get 20 lbs of sulfur in the Co-ops dry spreader, could I use and endgate seeder to apply the product (I believe it is aluminum sulfate)? Has anyone ever tried this? What are the pros/cons?
