Subject: RE: windham winter peas?

South Central Nebraska

I think it depends on when you are planting them and how long you let them live. If your goal is to get nitrogen in the spring and kill them before planting corn, then I would plant the Windham's in the fall. If you are planting after wheat harvest or have a longer period of time for the peas to grow then the AWP's might be a better fit. Also the Windham and Frostmaster are white flowered and are better for grazing or deer food plots then the AWP.
