Red River Valley | stated that more corn than thought was planted ( and everybody was lambasting them saying they were just a bunch of politacal hacks) and were wrong on acres also everybody was saying the same thing then as now that this corn crop had no chance of being trend line type yields I noticed even ol'SC was calling into question the USDA and the ability to grow a crop anywhere close to trendline.
So when you talk of how great the 2009 crop was just remember everybody was crying about how USDA was going to have to eat their words once that crop came home to roost.
and how may problems that crop had.
In JULY of 2009 flooding drought and late planting were all facts of the 2009 crop also | |
