The Corps of Engineers has sent out letters to landowners in Missouri and Iowa along the Missouri River basin, wanting to purchase land. What do you think of that?
Its true I have some neighbors who have gotten the letters. Had one neighbor sold 300 acres to the corp this spring in the $4000 dollar price range the ground he sold to the corp had been flooded 3 of the last 4 years now its been flooded 4 of the last 5 years. Seems the corp has the money if its something they want. |
