Palestine, IL 62451 | Palestine is celebrating its bicentennial this year and July 16 has been reserved for the ag sector. We will be offering bbq with 2 sides and drink from 11am till the food runs out or everyone gets tired. There is supposed to be some ag vendors, antique tractors and newer equipment on display for the viewing. Other activities are planned but not sure what they are as my job was chief cook and bottle washer. If your not doing anything that Saturday come on over to Leaverton Park in Palestine and at least have a decent meal and a good visit.
