| I am looking for some advice. A nonfarming neighbor here in SE NE has approached me about haying 9 acres of a native grass(big bluestem & switch) and jerusalem artichoke mix. He mows it every spring, so it's all new growth. I'm not familiar with the jerusalem arthichoke that is quite prevalent in this patch. Anyone have any experience with it? Are the stems palatable for cattle or horses, if not, is it easy to kill off with 2-4d? TIA | |
