I assumed it was a blend -, I do agree with a previous post stating the more you can time it to when it's greatly needed, the better. I had 140 # of N down, 30# preplant, and whatever the residual from soy would be and due to all our rain sidedressed 30-50# 28 to hopefully make up for denitrification that occurred this spring.
