MID NORTH DAKOTA
We have been "lucky" around here. We have something planted in each field. I can only think of one field that the insurance man didn't have to measure for PP. We were 30% short on our planned corn acreage. Didn't even attempt flowers, instead put it into soybeans. Problem is now, the sloughs are still spreading out and drowning out what we did get in the ground. Have heard some horror stories from guys toward Minot and west. 10% of acreages planted. I drove down to IA last weekend, and I saw a lot of bare, weed filled, or moisture stressed fields in the Dakotas.
