NC | packed gravel(which has woven matting under it) on most-- we have a concrete pad sloped away from the bunks(and I clean regular enough) so I don't worry about manure build up against the bunks.
the topsoil was also removed- so its pretty hard and stable ground
Its been 6 years on the oldest one and it still looks the same as when we set them down- no noticeable settling or shifting.
Caveat---- I'm down south and I don't have to deal with heaving ground | |
