Subject: Concrete in a lean-to...how thick

Evening All, wondering how thick concrete should be in a lean-to that we have cattle in year round (young calves before they go out in the yard or during calving). Right now its been so wet we had to clean it out down to the packed clay. The base is very solid but we dug down about 8 inches deeper than normal. Thinking about kicking the calves out for a few weeks and letting the pen dry then concreting it. There is a fair drop off behind the shed due to the cattle going around the building wanting to get into their calves and the very wet spring here in central MN. How would you go about this? Just pour the slab on the hard base clay (its like concrete already but about 1 foot lower than the outside of the shed) or build it up with packed gravel and put fiber reinforced with rebar concrete in? Would you dig pilings down to hold the slab to since there is a incline towards the back of the shed? Lean to is a 20X20..how much slope would you use?

TIA
Aaron
