Downtown Shell Knob MO Come Visit!
This Scott Cupps guy you are refering too, From first hand knowlege, I can tell you some of his problems:::: he is old and doesn't have anyone to take over his operation so he really doesn't care about the future, He also had all of his land (and Im pretty sure cows) given to him and or rents it for next to nothing because the population density is so low in his area. I also think he gets the poultry litter for free (don't hold me to that though) , Some type of deal that they just stockpile it at his place if they don't have anywhere else to go with it.

Why do you think poultry and hogs will go bye bye before cattle?
