What's the max spacing at the worst areas? 15" or 30"? If the average is closer than a foot, I wouldn't worry too much about it. What I've seen in the past is replant grows up under the first planting and saps moisture. Beans will bush like crazy. Just plan on hitting it again with gly later on and put some fungicide/insecticde on at the same time. Really seem to get a boost out of that.
