| We've grown it a few times in that same situation. As the others have said it almost takes a mircle to get it dry enough to bale in this part of the world, it can be done but it's not easy, it will take at least a week of good weather if it's mowed with a conditioner. What we found works the best if you can use the feed in the summer is to graze it but you need small fields where you can rotate the cattle as needed. Otherwise I would consider hiring somebody to chop it and put it in a silage bag, it makes really good feed that way and you aren't as dependant on the weather for getting it dry, even to make it as silage it will need to dry for 2-3 days.
