Subject: RE: update on covercrop strips 1.1

Kent County Ontario
I have been mostly conventional in my farming practices with some no till soys. I am moving towards some striptill in sugarbeets and corn with a goal of leaving residue between the rows. With striptillage it seem like good idea to try to incorporate some sort of covercrop in the off strip. Kind of a blend between a covercrop system and conventional. I would still have a strip of soil that would warm up in the spring Quicker. Will it work??? Time will tell.
